This week has been quite an eventful one for me. It started out with me finely getting my first vehicle, a 97 olds bravada. I already love this truck. Doesnt need much work, Ive cleaned it, got rid of the corrosion on the battery grounds with baking soda, It needs a pitman arm, all filters and fluids, ordered a grill for it, and then its license tags and insurance.

Then of course the unfortunate news of Mr. Jobs passing away. I've read that he was nontraditional with his treatments, he used eastern medicinal techniques and it eventually lead to his very unfortunate death. Im afraid that it's down hill for apple if theyre not careful. However a man by the name of Mr. Ives is apples design chief. He got hired by apple in 1996 when Steve Jobs returned. Mr. Ives was close to Steve and through that connection, i believe this man can really aid in continuing apples tradition of being the best.

iOS 5

I'm excited to see apple's release of iOS 5 and possibly new iPhone and iPod touch. It's rumored that there will be a cheaper iPhone 4s released and an iPhone five and it's iPod touch sibling. The iPad three could be in the works for next year as well! Go to www.cultofmac.com to find out more!

Oil pipeline in kansas

Yes, you heard correctly. A pipeline in Kansas. More specifically through marysvile. This pipeline is all the way from Canada. People are saying this will generate more jobs here. Well, it will be temporary and for a very small amount of jobs, this is a huge risk and the reward? Money for the govt and oil companies, then heartache when there is an accident that will destroy a nearby aquifer that supplies millions millions in central U.S with water.

Here is several pieces from my latest writing;
It was cool and clear, a cloudless night with the moon's rays caressing my cheeks, the wind playing softly with my hair, whispering it's secrets to me. With the sounds of crikets chirping in my ear and the scent of Datura filling my nose, I climbed down the trellis and lept safely in the cold grass.

As I layed down to sleep, a wonderful feeling of peace became apart of me, surrounded by love and happiness, feeling the cool breeze from the window, I felt as if my life had just begun.

I watched sorrowfully as he turned, walked to his horse, and disappeared behind the hedge of Hydrangeas. I cried bitterly as I sank to the ground, the stone cold upon my bare feet." Until we meet again." I said aloud to myself.

Okay, so there's a trip to Greece in spring break, itll cost $2800 big ones, the best part is i could have $2500 paid through grants/scholarships!!! plus the rest would come from left over college funding!!!!! Talk about photographers dream!!!

Pregnant Woman

I came across something hilarious today, It had to have nearly made my day in fact! I think you'll love it!!!

Here's the story:

A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus.She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her. She immediately moved to another seat.This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again. The man seemed more amused. When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she complained to the driver and he had the man arrested. ... ... ... ... The case came up in court. The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) what he had to say for himself. ... ... The man replied, 'Well your Honor, it was like this: when the lady got on the bus,I couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat down under a sign that said,'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I grinned. Then she moved and sat under a sign that said, 'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling,' and I had to smile. Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, 'William's Big Stick Did the Trick,' and I could hardly contain myself. But, Your Honor, when she moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident!' .... I just lost it.

Obama gets 2009 peace prize

That's right, Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace prize. Personally, I highly disagree with this decision. Mr. Obama is only 9 months into his term and I don't believe he's done even 1/4th of what he needs to do to earn this high honor. I also think even if he was near the end of the term he still wouldn't deserve the award. No offense intended, but, he's a socialist! He wants to change America ten-fold! Don't believe me..., his step father sent him to be educated in the middle east! I think that pretty much says everything! Oh, by the way, his father was a registered communist as well as most of the people he elected to his cabinet! 'NOUGH SAID!!!!

REMEMBER 9/11/01

I will always remember the day 9/11/01. I was in front of my tv after school in the 4th grade. My mother was startled when the towers were struck. I really didn't understand what was happening or where. All I wanted to do was play video games. I'm ashamed at that now that I do know what happened. I will forever remember that day of infamy and I honor and remember all those who perished in the tragedy with my photography and photoshop skills. CONTROL OVER THE INTERNET

Mr. obama's latest bill would give him emergency powers over the internet. This bill basically states that in an emergency, he'd be able to basically pull the kill switch on the internet. Now i don't know what else this bill states but based on the information above I'd say he's trying, and to some extent already is, to control any and every aspect of our lives. It's not just him either, theres quite a few in govt. that want to restrict some of our freedoms, for example, some people of the government aren't to happy with all that Glen Beck is saying about Mr. Obama and "the czars". Glen Beck is only exercising his right of freedom of speech and media. The government has no right even touching our freedoms in any way. As a matter of fact, the USA is close to becoming socialist. Barrack Obama has already taken steps towards becoming a socialist nation. He's already gotten way to involved in the economy,(our recession is no excuse) and wants to make health care run by the government and mandatory for all (or you'll receive a fine). Our nation is headed to a vary dangerous and dark path. If you don't believe it look at Mr. Obama's education, he was sent by is communist step father to be educated in the middle east in the ways of socialsim and communism, If that isn't enough than i'm sorry that you can't realize the truth.

P.S. I'm only expressing my opinion, if you are offended in any way....OH WELL... Keep it up Mr. Glen Beck. Heres a link to the article about the most recent bill.

PENTAX DIGITAL 645

Pentax has announced that they will be making a digital 645 camera (finally). This pentax digital 645 is to come with a modest 30 megapixel back and a 55 mm lens. It is also rumored to be compatible with all k-mount lenses if you have an adapter that they're also making.It will be release in 2010, no pricing details yet.

The camera I use, which is awesome by the way, is a Pentax k 200d. It's great to use if you're a professional or just into photography. Just some specs real quick, it has 10.2 effective mega-pixels and has dust and weather resistant seals which is great for all the weather pics I shoot. I always shoot on Manual and get some killer stuff. The pictures above are some that I shot within the past two weeks.
